Delaware County, March 24 - Flashing red lights and a glaring stop sign didn't slow down, police say, let alone stop 51-year-old Dennis Lewis. His pickup truck slammed into a much smaller car carrying four teenagers going home after a date.

"It just hit me in the back and I passed out." Timothy Catiller was driving. After gathering his wits he realized Mark, his twin brother, was trapped in the back seat. "He woke up and smiled at me."

It was among the 16-year-old's last smiles. Mark died in the hospital.

Investigators say Lewis was intoxicated, his blood alcohol measuring .17, more than twice the legal limit.

Mark's mother Camille Catiller is stunned and angry. "Anyone who gets behind a steering wheel drunk is every bit as much a terrorist as Osama Bin Laden. I hope he rots in hell. He took the person who knew everything about me."

Even as a sophomore Mark stood out on Tiger field where he played baseball and as a student in the hallways of Yorktown High School.

His baseball coach Mike Larrabee says, "Here is a kid who does everything right, and it dosen't work out. That's what makes it such a tragedy."

It's spring break. Most students aren't aware of what happened.

Stephanie Blanch is one who is aware. "I haven't been able to believe it all day. I drive past their house and say, 'Did this really happen?'"

Family members are looking to religious faith and justice, they say, as they wrestle with a tragedy at a Delaware County crossroad.

The accident occurred about two a.m. Sunday. Police arrested Lewis on a charge of driving while intoxicated and causing death. Lewis was released on bond.
