__GBL:__You were recently named as a face of Revlon. We're so excited for you!
__AE:__It's such an honor. My sisters introduced me to Revlon's lipsticks when I was younger, and since then they've always been in my makeup bag.
__GBL:__What is your typical backstage beauty routine for La Banda?
__AE:__I get to the set with absolutely no makeup on—just a very clean, super-moisturized face—and from there my hair and makeup artist, Marco Peña, and I start the process. Above all the look must be natural, youthful, and fresh, as if you're not wearing makeup. But, of course, you are.
__GBL:__What are the essential steps for your on-air look?
__AE:__A good base covers up all your imperfections and leaves your face like a baby's. I'm a fanatic about mascara. [Revlon's ColorStay Makeup, $13 and Ultra Volume Mascara, $9, both available at drugstores, are two of Espinoza's faves.] Oh, and Marquito [Peña] has to cut my brows once in a while because they grow as fast as my hair! I even use hairspray on them.

__GBL:__Now that you're a mom, do you wear makeup in your free time?
__AE:__I always like to look pretty and presentable when I leave my house, so I give myself time to wear at least blush and mascara. Sometimes I run into people on the street who see me on television. I want them to have a good memory of me.
__GBL:__Finally, what has been your favorite part of being part of La Banda?
__AE:__This project will bring more attention to Latin culture and will help people realize their dreams. And to work with people whom I've long admired—Simon, [executive producer] Ricky Martin, the judges—who are all so humble, is very exciting.
Don't forget to catch the season finale of La Banda this Sunday night with musical guests Pitbull and Wisin!
