The popular RPG, EarthBound Beginnings also known as Mother in Japan, finally made its way to Switch on February 9. As a Nintendo product, it was initially released in 1989 for Famicon and later released for GBA and Wii U. EarthBound Beginnings’ story revolves around a young American couple. To make the game more exciting, it divides the story into two parts, which are the overworld and the battle system.
When the player is in the town, they can visit places, interact with other characters, make purchases and lots more. On the other hand, when you move out of the town, the action kicks in as you tackle powerful enemies and complete adventurous tasks.

- Ninten: He is the main character in EarthBound Beginnings whose name is derived from Nintendo. He sets off on a long journey to find the reason behind the attack by his household appliances.
- Ana: Ana is Ninten’s girlfriend and is famous due to her PSI abilities.
- Lloyd: Lloyd is an elementary school student. Due to lack of PSI abilities, he uses a special gun in the battle.

- Pippi: Pipi is a random child who gives the Franklin Badge to Ninten
- Flying Man: Flying Man is a famous yet mysterious humanoid character who is only found in Magicant
- Eve: She is a robot and the powerful character in the entire party as she has the ability to scale her power upto 1000 points
- Giygas : He is the villain in the game who is an alien. He was raised by humans who were abducted from Earth.
- George & Maria: They are the Great-Grandparents of Ninten
- Caron : She is the mother of Ninten
