Skyrim Anniversary Edition launches November 11th for the game’s 10th anniversary – here’s all the extra content you can expect to get.
This week, Bethesda will launch the latest instalment in Skyrim’s series of re-releases: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition.
Though we’ve seen many editions of Skyrim before, this year marks the game’s 10th anniversary. So, to celebrate, the Anniversary Edition brings a wealth of extra content for Skyrim fans to enjoy. Here are all the details so far!
Skyrim Anniversary Edition will include the base game (Skyrim Special Edition) as well as all 3 original DLCs – Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard. If you’re sticking to the Special Edition upgrade, you’ll still get all the bonus content, just without the base game.
Even better, if you own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S console, you’ll receive a free patch containing next-gen improvements. This means better graphics, optimized loading times, and more changes to make Skyrim shine on newer systems.
Additionally, the Anniversary Edition will include all 48 currently available Creation Club packs, plus 26 new packs. As Bethesda’s official collection of mods, the Creation Club brings new modes and mechanics to the base Skyrim game. You can expect to further diversify your styles of play and explore an even bigger world.
CREATION CLUB PACK DETAILS
Some of the more notable packs are Fishing, Survival Mode, Rare Curios, and Saints & Seducers. These four mods will come as free updates if you already own Skyrim Special Edition.
Overall, these packs will give you new quests, new locations, and new items. From Morrowind-inspired armor to added environmental effects, the broad range of content will certainly add to Skyrim’s already lengthy playtime.

Finally, the Skyrim Anniversary Edition will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 11th, 2021. The full edition will cost USD $49.99/EUR €54.99/GBP £47.99/AUD $79.95/RUB 3399. For those who already own Special Edition, the Anniversary upgrade will be USD $19.99/EUR €19.99/GBP £15.99/AUD $29.95/RUB 1429.
