Well shame on Lionel for doing that! I just never understood a mega corporation stomping on something like this, that was used in the preservation of antiques??? Like someone making a few dry transfers is going to infringe on their corporate profits. I used to use those dry transfers frequently when doing restorations back then. They were wonderful! Decals just don't cut it in some cases.. I made a few circus cars for my own use using the dry transfers and they turned out really well!
I did some quick research and found that some craft stores carry an inkjet kit to make dry rub transfers.. now if I can only get a printer that prints bright white!
