Barbara Palvin is officially Barbara Sprouse!
On July 15, the 29-year-old supermodel married 30-year-old actor and former child star Dylan Sprouse on Barbara’s parents’ property (which, conveniently, is also an events space) in her home country of Hungary. “[This past weekend] was supposed to be an intimate event,” Barbara told Vogue. “But we ended up having 115 guests because there are a lot of people we care about and we wanted them all to be there.” The couple also plans to have a second wedding this fall in California, where Sprouse was raised.
According to Vogue, Barbara wore a custom Vivienne Westwood wedding dress with a corseted bodice. She accessorized with a ’90s-inspired Tiffany choker necklace, Jimmy Choo heels, semi-sheer opera gloves, and a sweeping veil. Following the ceremony, Barbara changed into a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini dress that was more appropriate for dancing and that made her “feel like a modern princess.” Per Hungarian tradition, she changed once more after midnight into a red dress.
“It’s called menyecske ruha,” Barbara explained. “There was no question—I had to wear a Hungarian designer for this one, so I chose Mero. They created the dress of my dreams. It was sexy and sweet but also comfortable—exactly what I wanted.”

The happy couple met roughly six years ago and recounted their meet-cute to Vogue. It all began when Barbara cut Dylan in line while entering an event. Dylan then chastised her for the “bad behavior,” and Barbara replied, “What are you—a hot-dog vendor?” Cue a flirty back-and-forth, Dylan sliding into Barbara’s DMs, and Barbara ghosting the actor for six months before finally agreeing to a date. Who said romance was dead?
