I bought my husband Adirondack chairs for his birthday last week, and I wanted to hang some string lights around our deck to properly showcase my awesome gift. I contemplated several ways to hang the lights {Pushing thumbtacks through the wires? Clipping them to the gutter? } before I came up with this genius solution while aimlessly wandering the aisles of Home Depot:
They're clips with little tiny nails that you hammer in, and then you can pop the wire in and out of the clips, so you can hang, remove, and re-hang your outdoor lights without having to break out a hammer every time. Here's what they look like not in the wood:
