Bleach 'Thousand-Year Blood War' Anime Release Date Revealed

Everyone was eagerly waiting to hear something about the anime adaptation of Bleach’s ‘Thousand-Year Blood War’ Arc. Well, after a frustratingly long wait, we finally have a release date for the anime adaptation of Bleach’s final arc.

Bleach is a popular Japanese anime series based on a manga written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Studio Pierrot released the Bleach anime adaptation in 2004 that ran for 366 episodes, and the final episode aired in March 2012.

Millions of fans loved the Bleach anime because of its fascinating characters and story. The anime also introduced several original story arcs that were well received by the audience. So, it’s no wonder that fans from across the world are eagerly waiting for the anime series to come back.

Bleach ‘Thousand Year Blood War’ Arc Release Date

The creators announced in March 2020 that the Bleach anime would come back and adapt the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc. Well, it was recently revealed that the anime adaptation of Bleach’s Final story Arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, will premiere in Fall 2022 (Via: WSJ_Manga).

To be more precise, we’ll get the first episode of Thousand-Year Blood War Arc in October 2022. So, Bleach fans have a lot to look forward to next year. Also, this might not be the end for Bleach announcements for 2021, as the anime is getting a super stage at the Jump Festa 2022, on December 18th, 2021, at 6 PM JST. So, we might get to see a teaser visual or a small video teaser for the final arc.

Besides Bleach, several other popular anime are getting Super Stages at Jump Festa 2022. That includes Chainsaw Man, Platinum End, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super, and many more.
