INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — After receiving an overwhelming response to its "Pay Your Age" event, Build-A-Bear Workshop has launched a new program to give kids discounts.
The company announced its "Count Your Candles" program. The program allows children, 14 years old and younger, to visit Build-A-Bear any day during their birth month to make a "Birthday Treat Bear." On that day, the "Birthday Treat Bear" will cost the age of the birthday boy or girl.
The birthday boy or girl will also get a birthday heart ceremony, cake photo prop, birthday sticker and party hat. Staff members will sing "Happy Birthday."
The "Count Your Candles" offer is only available to Build-A-Bear Bonus Club members, however, it's free to join. Anyone can become a club member by signing up online.
