Thanks Darrell, that's kind of what I was thinking; cutting pieces of foam to fit the contours and then hot-glueing the cardboard strips to the foam.
One more quick question. When I do get all of the lattice-work up, what do you reccomend I lay over the cardboard, i.e. paper towels, newspaper, etc
