The Chainsaw Man official Twitter account keeps the hype going, giving out free character icons as its garnering more and more Twitter followers.
While the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation has no release date yet, many fans are getting more hyped than ever. Hysterical even, as I’ve seen some people already calling it the best anime ever. Sure, the same staff who worked on the trailer are working on the actual anime, and the base manga is definitely good. But we gotta wait and see.

More on Chainsaw Man and its anime by Mappa
The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man got its first trailer revealed by Mappa at the studio’s 10th anniversary event on June 27. Original mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto, who’s also known for Fire Punch, debuted the original Chainsaw Man manga in December 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The series’ first part ended with 11 volumes, in December 2020. You can read it officially on Manga Plus.
Later on, a Chainsaw Man 2 manga was announced, which will be serialized at some point on Shone Jump+’s website and app. The original manga is dubbed the “Kouan” “Public Safety” arc, and the next manga is the “Gakkou” “School” arc.
Personally speaking, I believe Chainsaw Man could easily become as big as Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer seeing how popular the manga already is, without an anime. Mappa is definitely betting everything it has on the anime, which is sure to get preferential treatment while all its other projects crash with the usual overwork and narrow deadlines issues.
