Moreover, it was revealed Kana Hanazawa will be voicing Rika. We translated her comments on Jujutsu Kaisen from the official site:
Kana Hanazawa: “Deciding to take the audition for 0, I started watching the anime and reading the manga. And ended up becoming a huge fan. I’ll be voicing both Rika and her curse version, so I ended up liking Yuta even more once I got the role. And I’m really looking forward to hearing myself interact with my beloved Megumi Ogata!”
Megumi Ogata, known outside Japan mainly for Evangelion (Shinji) and Danganronpa (Makoto), is the seiyuu voicing Yuta. Be sure to check out her thoughts on Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released in Japanese theaters on December 24, 2021. The movie has no release date in the west yet. Jujutsu became a huge franchise following its first anime season by studio Mappa. It’s very likely we’ll hear about a USA domestic release soon in 2022.
