Ironically, the star of the Don't Worry Darling press tour and Venice Film Festival premiere seems to be the man who most looks like he's actively willing his consciousness to leave its current state. Images, videos, and memes of Chris Pine apparently dissociating in press junket interviews and panels, and on the red carpet have all of the internet saying, “Same.”
One popular video, clipped from a junket interview, has cropped Harry Styles out of frame as the singer says, “My favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie…” while zooming in on Pine's actively lifeless eyes. “You can almost see the screams catching in his throat,” the tweet sharing the vid reads.

Another widely shared meme shows a quartet of images from a press conference panel, in which Pine gazes at the ceiling, studies the cap on his water bottle, stares impassively, and appears to allow his eyeballs to roll fully back into his head. “Chris Pine rethinking his entire life decisions that lead him to this point,” wrote one Twitter user.
