Davido finally bows to pressure, takes down controversial music video

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, faced significant backlash for the controversial music video of his new signee, Olamilekan Emeka Taiwo, aka, Logos Olori.

The video, which featured scenes shot near a mosque and depicted Muslims performing Eid prayers, sparked anger and accusations of disrespect towards the religion.

Numerous individuals, including notable Nigerian personalities like Ahmad Bashir and Ali Nuhu, expressed their displeasure over the video. Despite the criticism, Davido remained relatively silent on the issue and did not offer a formal apology.

However, the intense internet reaction presumably led Davido to take action. He silently withdrew the music video from all platforms two days after its release, even though no official apology was issued by the musician.
