Demon Slayer Gets New Visual To Celebrate Anime's 3rd Anniversary

Ufotable premiered the first season of Demon Slayer back in April 2019. Soon, the anime series will celebrate its third anniversary, and the studio has released a new visual for the upcoming event.

Demon Slayer is definitely one of the best anime series of all time. Unlike other popular Japanese anime, Demon Slayer doesn’t have a complex power-up system or a political message. However, its simplicity and Ufotable’s grasp over the story is what makes it legendary.

Ufotable delivered an incredible quality animation in the first season. After that, the studio surpassed the first season with the Mugen Train movie. And then the Entertainment District Arc had our jaws on the floor with its state-of-the-art animation. However, the latest story arc came to an end after twelve spectacular episodes.

Demon Slayer Anime Third Anniversary Visual Released

Interestingly, Demon Slayer will host a two-day festival to celebrate its third anniversary. The celebrations will last from April 16th to April 17th, and to commemorate the event, the creators have released a new key visual.

In the flashy key visual, we can see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko, along with two Hashira, Rengoku and Tengen. The new illustration flaunts the colorful theme of the Entertainment District. It definitely comes as a treat for fans who have been missing watching new episodes of Demon Slayer every week. Here you go; take a look at the visual yourself:

Ufotable already announced Season 3 of Demon Slayer, which will adopt the Swordsmith Village Arc. Of course, there’s no official release window for the next season as of yet, but we can expect it to arrive in April 2023 based on the anime’s production cycle.
