WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol will defend his title against Manchester's Lyndon Arthur in Saudi Arabia this evening.
The pair will meet on the monumental ‘Day of Reckoning’ card that also includes Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Daniel Dubois.

Bivol is set to defend his crown for the eleventh time as he returns to the ring for the first time since beating Gilberto Ramirez in November 2022.
The Russian takes on Manchester-born Arthur who is preparing for the toughest test of his career after being handed a shot at the belt.

This 12-round title clash will take place on Saturday, December 23.
It will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The undercard action will begin at around 3:15pm while this bout will be the fifth of eight on the bill and will start at around 7:25pm UK time.

“I’m so thankful to be a part of this big event. It’s great,” he said.
“I want to say thank you to Saudi Arabia and to Turki Alalshikh for what he’s making for not only me but for boxing fans.
“I think both of these guys deserve their own show, and we will see.”

Asked about what he expects from Arthur, he continued: “I don’t know about him too much, but I know he’s champion of the world, IBO, and he’s disciplined.
