Painful news hit social media as BBNaija season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya AKA Rico Swavey is dead.
The news was confirmed by the season’s star Tobi Bakare. He shared a picture of himself and Rico on Twitter with the caption, “This is how I will always remember you. Rest in peace my brother.”
The BBN star had previously shared a photo of a hospitalised Rico who had survived a motor accident and was put on life support. Bakare called on netizens on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 to make public donations to help save his life.

The post was also accompanied by Alex Unusual as she equally solicited aid for Rico. Despite the efforts made to save his life, he gave up the ghost on Thursday, October 13th, 2022.
Fans have been thrown into mourning as many of them described the young man as one who was lively and free-spirited.

Late Nigerian Rapper, DaGrin Wanted By The Police In Sierra Leone
Meanwhile, Nigerians on social media were left in shock after a photo of a late Nigerian rapper was added to a list of wanted violent protesters in Sierra Leone.
Nigerian rapper, Olaitan Oladapo Olanipekun, popularly known as DaGrin, passed on in April 2010 after he was involved in an accident.
So it was rather shocking that 12 years later, his pictures were trending on social media for being involved in a violent protest in another African country.
