But after she retired, her retirement objective became getting a better education. “I took it as a retiring project before I ever entered the office.

I needed to keep my mind active because I retired from YABATECH as a chief lecturer.

I’ve learned that the brain may stretch to any level, so. But it would perish if you let it lie dormant,” she warned.

The 71-year-old grandmother was concerned that if she did not maintain mental activity, her brain would deteriorate and ultimately lead to the demise of her entire body.

“Once it starts to die, the entire system will succumb quickly, and since I still have some time left until I pass away, I made the decision to truly use my brain and put what I have learned throughout my years of teaching into practice in order to find solutions to issues I ran across in the classroom,” she continued.

Mrs Marinze already had her bachelor’s degree in education, but she decided to stretch her mind by enrolling in a program for a degree in the fundamentals of French. She first pursued a Master’s degree in French, then a Master’s degree in philosophy, and eventually a PhD.

“I needed nine years to complete my PhD. I completed a master’s and placed first. My first degree at the University of Ibadan required me to read Education, French, and English, so even though I have all of my degrees in education, I still wanted to improve my French. I came here to study French language and culture at the Faculty of Education,” she added.
