CINCINNATI, OHIO: Darren Watkins, better known as , has a massive fan following on and the internet at large and the streamer seemed to have acknowledged his sexual orientation in mid-September 2021.
During a chat with musician Ava and discussing matters of the heart, Speed abruptly disclosed his sexual orientation.

But the next day, he abandoned the revelation. Subsequently, on September 12, 2021, IShowSpeed uploaded a video to reaffirm that he is straight. He said that he was upset when he came out on the livestream and pleaded with the audience to ignore the confession.
In the video, Speed stated, “I didn’t mean to say it. It was just a misunderstanding. Trust me, I’m straight.”

He went on to say, "So basically everybody thinks I am obviously a homosexual. But I am not homosexual. I'm heterosexual."
Kick streamer, saw Speed's upset face and tried to cheer him up saying, "I don't get any gay vibes, really! But even if you were gay, we'd still love you."

This challenge follows IShowSpeed's impressive demonstrations of skill in 'Fortnite' and 'EAFC' content during his livestreams.
In a recent livestream, IShowSpeed came across a video in which SypherPK discussed a prior conversation between Speed and a viewer.
In the video, Speed declared with assurance that he would beat SypherPK, saying, "I will bust your a**."SypherPK accepted the challenge and said, "Let’s see if Speed can actually back up his trash talk."
Speed mocked SypherPK after hearing his challenge, using foul language to show that he was confident in his ability to win. In a direct message to SypherPK, he reaffirmed his view that he is the best 'Fortnite' player.
IShowSpeed found out that SypherPK had messaged him prior to issuing the challenge. In response, Speed encouraged SypherPK to cease talking and engage in the 1v1 match.
Despite being defeated five times in a row, the showdown generated significant attention on social media, with some mocking Speed's confidence and others praising his fight and SypherPK's impressive skills.
