Jeffrey Dean Morgan on The Good Wife
Kalinda has stalked off into thin air, which means The Good Wife needs a new investigator. Enter...Denny? Yup! Jeffrey Dean Morgan—the man who seduced, then died on, then haunted (but in a hot way?) Izzie on Grey's Anatomy—will reportedly be Alicia's case-cracking, don't-worry-about-how-I-got-it-I-just-got-it P.I. when the series returns. OK, it's a start, Good Wife, but don't think that you can just serve up the best stubbled jaw Hollywood has to offer and get us to stop mourning what could've been with Matthew Goode. (He's not set to appear in season 7.)
Emily Kinney on Masters of Sex
You won't even have to wait till fall for this one: Former Walking Dead star Kinney is joining Showtime's midcentury romance as a research volunteer who goes way back with the Masters fam—she used to be Bill and Libby's neighbor. It seems Masters is intent on getting everyone we love who's been killed off a show back to us: Josh Charles also figures prominently into this season, which premieres Sunday.
