Unseasonably cool air moves in for the weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS — After a hot streak of August-like temperatures, much cooler air arrives for the weekend. An upper level trough will bring a chance of a few spotty showers this evening.  It will also usher in unseasonably cool temperatures.

It will be a much brighter day today, with breezy winds out of the west-northwest. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid-60s.

A few spotty showers will be possible this evening, with north central Indiana more likely.

The wind will also kick up tonight, sustained from 15 to 20 mph.

Much colder air moves in by Saturday morning, with temperatures falling into the low 40s. It will be breezy, so feels-like temperatures will be in the low-to-mid-30s!

Saturday will be a chilly day, with mostly sunny skies by afternoon!

Sunday will be chilly, too, with low in the upper 30s.

Clouds will increase Sunday afternoon, with a chance of a few spotty showers by evening. It will be cool, with highs in the mid-50s.
