Final Fantasy XIII-2 Characters Model Prada

NOTE: This has not been submitted as news to the Newshounds (yet), but, if it is, we won't be running it as it is (at its core) not game-related... also, it's insane.

The bible prophesized the end of days in Revelation 6:12-15

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the stars of the heavens fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

And the heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

The one thing that was left out? You guessed it: the characters of Final Fantasy XIII-2 Achievements modeling Prada.

Lo and the characters of a JRPG will model for Prada and gamers shall gnash their teeth and tear at their garments as Lightning poses in khakis.

I’ve made no secret to the fact that I find most Eastern Developed games to be completely nonsensical and such proclivities run contrary to my personal tastes, but I challenge even the staunchest JRPG fan to defend this as anything short of batshit insane.

Also, are hardcore FFXIII-2 fans REALLY the prime demographic for designer clothes? What cross-promotion marketing “genius” came up with this idea?

That being said, if you got Commander Shepard, Tali, and Garrus to model for The Gap… I might go buy a polo.
