“Going out on top”: NFL fans react on Tom Brady getting 99 overall in Madden 22 following his retirement

Tom Brady, ‘The Greatest Quarterback of All Time’ a few days ago announced his retirement from the NFL after 22 seasons in which he was a Seven-time Super Bowl champion, Five-time Super Bowl MVP, three-time NFL MVP, which are just some of the many achievements that he was able to achieve in such a long and successful career.

Tom Brady played his last match in the NFL in a defeat in the NFC Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Rams in which he nearly pulled off another great comeback win after being down by a load to start the game, but his dream was shortlived as Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp had other plans.

Despite this there can not be a single stain in the legacy of Brady who has been the Greatest of All Time in this sport and to salute the glorious career of the GOAT, EA Sports has decided to make him the only quarterback in the MADDEN NFL 22 with a 99 rating, a rating which he has had many times throughout his career in previous editions of the game.

Tom Brady joins an elsuive list of players in the 99-club

Tom Brady

Tom Brady is the only quarterback in this edition of Madden who is now 99 rated. However, players from other positions are 99 rated which includes the likes of Kansas City Chiefs superstar WR Travis Kelce, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Devante Adams, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, etc.

Getting into the 99 clubs in Madden is not an easy task which is proved when the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen who are arguably among the best quarterbacks in the league are also not 99 rated and Tom Brady deserves every bit of this rating as despite being 45 years old and playing his 22nd season in the NFL he was among the top 2 runners of the MVP race and had the most passing touchdowns in the league.

Brady needs to be in the game every year, even after retiring
