The bidding team comprises billionaire Rob Walton, heir to the Walmart retail company, and Walmart chairperson Greg Penner, Walton’s son-in-law through his marriage to Carrie Walton Penner.

Greg Penner, the son of two sex therapists from California, had a very different upbringing than his father-in-law.
Secondly, the 52-year-old started his profession as a management trainee at Goldman Sachs before moving on to Walmart. He worked his way up through the ranks, serving as senior VP and planning for Walmart.com and CFO for the company in Japan.

He rose through the ranks and was made chairperson of the corporation in 2015. His parents, is from the other hand, continue to work in sex therapy and have their own website,
The duo also hosts their own podcast, Savvy Sauce, with recent ones focusing on ways for couples to improve their sexual connection during the marriage.
Clifford and Joyce, Greg’s parents, act as a team in counseling couples and individuals, delivering sexual enhancement seminars for couples, and educating sex education pre-teens. And their parents, and more, according to their website.

Penner is the founder of Madrone Capital Partners, a Menlo Park, California-based investing firm and serves on the boards of Baidu, eHarmony, Hyatt Hotels, Teach for America, and Charter School Growth Fund along with being the Chairman of Walmart. He is married to S. Robson Walton’s daughter, Carrie Walton Penner and they live in Atherton, California, with their four children.
Broncos fans will be hopeful that the Walter-Penner takeover results in improved performance on the field. In the last six seasons, the AFC West team has failed to make the postseason playoffs.
