Hello, my name is PangoBara and welcome to my walkthrough for all of the achievements in What the Dub?!!
What the Dub?! is a party game that's similar to the Jackbox Party Pack games. Just imagine that you are playing a single game within one of those packs and you have a good idea of what to expect.
Matches involve 1 to 8 players watching a clip where the audio is muted for one of the characters. Each player must then write a line for the character, aiming to be as funny as possible. In 1 to 2 player matches, that's about it. In 3-8 player matches, everyone votes on the "Dub" that they find the funniest. Most points at the end wins. There can also be up to 12 audience members but they can only vote for the answer that they like best each round.
All players/audience members must go to playwtd.com to enter their name and the room code to join. The code is shown on screen when you enter the lobby of a match. Players can only join while in the lobby. Anyone who joins after the first 8 players are in or after the game starts (regardless of the number of players) will become an audience member. Because you need to play with the maximum number of players and the maximum number of audience members for achievements (separately). You need a minimum of 15 devices to play or sessions opened on a browser. You'll need 20 if you want to do both achievements in one game. I'll explain how to do this later if you have Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Otherwise, it may be harder (I do not think it is possible to do on a single phone, but you certainly can complete the game with only 1 laptop).
The vast majority of completion time will be the achievement to play 70 games, as you can get all other achievements in about the first 12 or so matches. Once you've got all the other achievements, we'll be grinding the remaining matches in single player (which skips things such as voting) to reach the 70 wins a lot faster.
