The shaft fractured I believe, it's not like the shaft came cleanly away as if the glue failed.He suggested it could be some rust from within the shaft. I will try to find out a bit more info.
this makes things different. i had a set a ap-1 irons and within a week 2 of them broke at the point they go into the head. the inside of the shaft was rusty. titlest said it was because i had most likely put a tee peg in the end of the grip, puncturing the grip tape thus allowing water into the shaft!!!!!!!!!!! two weeks old!!!!! can you believe that?
that was 4 years ago and the reason why not one thing in my bag is titleist
