She's known for her stunning curves, but Demi Harman's best features appeared to be working against her on Sunday.

Dipping in and out of the waves at Sydney's Coogee beach, the Home And Away actress very nearly escaped a wardrobe malfunction while showing off her killer bikini body in a teeny two-piece.

The 21-year-old beauty struggled to keep a hold of her bandeau-style bikini top and almost bust clean out of the costume after being thrashed about by the surf.

It went a long way towards flaunting her fit figure however, and hugged the body-confident star's fabulous curves.

Demi accessorised her floral-print costume with large stud earrings and a nautical, anchor-shaped necklace that sat low on her chest.

She left her flowing brunette locks loose and was unafraid to duck her head under the waves to cool off from the unseasonably warm spring weather.

Showcasing her natural beauty, the Channel Seven star wore little to no makeup and covered her fair complexion with a baseball cap while relaxing on the sand.

The Summer Bay resident took a well-deserved break from the Home And Away set at the weekend and appeared completely at ease as she soaked up the sun.

She was joined by her co-star-turned-boyfriend Alec Snow on the occasion.

The pair were seen kissing and cuddling as they splashed about in the water together.

The new couple went public with their relationship in August, an on-screen romance first triggering rumours of a real life romance in May.

They were first thought to be dating earlier this year when they were snapped frolicking on the sand and stealing a quick cuddle in between shooting scenes.

Demi has previously said that first and foremost the pair are really good friends.
