How to Get Furfrou in The Pokemon GO Valentine's Day Collection Challenge

Pokemon GO’s yearly Valentine’s Day event is finally here and with it, a brand new collection challenge that has led players to look for Furfrou.

The dog Pokemon, which first appeared in Pokemon X & Y, only debuted in Pokemon GO over the last few months and has already played a prominent role in a few events, including this one.

The Pokemon is one of seven that players will need to capture across two different Valentine’s Themed Collection Challenges. You’ll have to be quick though, as the event only lasts until Monday, February 14 at 8 pm Local Time and the challenge will have to be completed by then.

So, to help you out, here is how to find and get yourself a Furfrou for the Pokemon GO Valentines Day Collection Challenges.

Every Way To Catch Furfrou During The Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day Catch Challenge

Raid

Furfrou will be appearing as a one-star Raid boss during the Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day event.

Using one raid pass and taking a bunch of Fighting-type Pokemon with you, should be enough to guarantee you the capture. Especially as it’s an easy solo.

In Wild Encounters

Alongside the one-star raid battles, Furfrou will be appearing in the wild during the event.

Of course, you’re never guaranteed to encounter a specific wild Pokemon, however, provided you walk around lots, use Incense and Lures and play the game a fair amount, you’ll give yourself a really great opportunity to catch Furfrou and complete the challenge.

Sadly, aside from these two methods, there is no other way to encounter Furfrou as it’s not appearing as a Field Research reward or in any other capacity.

Good luck!
