Hermit Village in Elden Ring is located at a seemingly straightforward spot on the map, but when you try to find a path to the village, you are going to struggle a lot!
How to Get to Hermit Village in Elden Ring
You can find Hermit Village in the southwest of Volcano Manor in Mt. Gelmir, but you need to take a long path to reach this village.
There are two ways to get to the Hermit Village. The easiest way is to find the Medallion halves for Grand Lift of Dectus and take a risk-free path towards the village. If you haven’t activated the Grand Lift of Dectus, then you should take the second path to Hermit Village, which includes a boss fight.
We strongly recommend you collect the Medallion halves from Fort Farogh and Fort Haight and take the Altus Plateau path as it’s much easier and faster. At least, you won’t face any bosses on your way to collect the Medallion halves.
Once you activated the lift and reached Altus Plateau, find the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace north of the lift and then take the red path shown in the image below until you reach the Blue circle, which is Hermit Village. Keep in mind that you will come across two bosses on your way to the village, but you can ignore them and continue your path.
Elden Ring is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
