A young lady has reportedly dumped her boyfriend because of his ‘odd’ surname.
In a viral audio clip that Instablog9ja shared, the young lady told her boyfriend that she would only continue with the relationship if he changed his name.
She said her boyfriend’s surname, Iyaama sounded rather odd, and she could not imagine herself being referred to as Mrs Iyaama.
She added that her unborn child would also bear the same name if she went ahead with the relationship, and it’s something she didn’t want to happen.
‘Iyaama’ in the local parlance means something disgusting, and nobody wants to associate with it.

While some persons have laughed at the audio clips, many believe that the young lady has valid reasons for wanting to quit her relationship.

Man Dumps Lover After Collecting ₦5 Million From Her Mother
Meanwhile, a beautiful Nigerian lady narrated how her relationship with her ex-lover ended when he collected ₦5 million from her mother.
The young lady, Miracle Uwaegbu, with the handle @_ogheneyoma, shared the story via a TikTok video on Tuesday, June 28.
According to Miracle, her mother offered her ex-lover a whopping sum of ₦5 million to end their relationship.
She said she feels sad and disappointed that her ex-boyfriend accepted the offer thrown at him by her mum and broke up with her.
