Daniel Regha, a popular Twitter critic, has stated that if popular artist David Adeleke better known as Davido offers him money, he will refuse.
He said this in an interview on the 9th of May, on Big Brother Naija star Doyin’s podcast, Doyin’s Corner, concerning Davido’s failure to meet his N20 million giveaway pledge.

Daniel claimed he is not swayed by anyone else’s money or influence, and even if he was offered money, he would turn it down.
He maintained that people should learn to keep their promises, especially after raising their hopes, as Davido did.

According to the outspoken critic, the only time one should retract such pledges is when they realise that the person or individuals they intend to support are undeserving or are engaging in questionable behaviour.
He claimed to have learned that some celebrities make similar giveaway pledges as a publicity ploy in order to gain favour from fans.
In early 2022, Davido pledged to financially support small enterprises, claiming that the country’s condition was extremely difficult.
He stated that N20 million would be distributed to 20 persons, and he pledged to do it on the Friday following the week in which he made the post.
The DMW CEO then invited interested parties to submit their company and start-up ideas for him to assess and choose lucky recipients.
“Country🇳🇬 hard right now sha … let’s give 20 m to 20 people on Friday … send in your business ideas or start-up ideas … more details shortly #Wrbl,” Davido wrote.
But for unknown reasons, this promise has not been met.
