In-law don purge: Nigerian bride causes commotion with funny-looking food as her first meal for in-laws

A Nigerian bride has sparked reactions online after sharing a video of the first meal she had for her in-laws.

The bride who goes by the username @jaynanza on TikTok shared the video to flaunt her cooking skills on the platform.

In the short clip, she displayed a pot of pasta topped with palm oil and what looks like Ori (shea butter).

Users of the video-sharing app have however raised questions about her mixture as well as the outlook of the pot of food.

Bride-to-be breaks in tears after being asked to wash plates and fetch water

In other news, a young lady on TikTok was embittered after she was asked to run errands after her introduction ceremony at her home town.

The young lady identified as Lauretta with the handle @meetlauretta lamented that she wasn’t allowed to bask in the excitement of her special day as she was asked to fetch water and wash plates the following day.

In the hilarious video she posted, she was seen sitting downcast with a heap of dirty plates before her. She also revealed that she was asked to do the chores because she was the last born in the family.

While sharing the video, she wrote :

“And to think yesterday was my introduction. They still make me know i am the last born of my family today. Life no balance. It was not a small thing. I was sent to fetch water.”
