The MCU has become an unstoppable force in the world of TV and Film, but will the upcoming Disney+ show Moon Knight be joining the cinematic universe?
Many fans may assume that all new Marvel TV Shows and Films are now automatically a part of the MCU, but due to character licensing issues, this isn’t always the case.
An example of this is Sony owning the rights to the character of Spider-Man. Whilst the MCU was in full swing, Sony continued making Spider-Man movies that existed as their own separate entities. Eventually, this led to Sony and Marvel teaming up to bring the character to the MCU and rebooting the franchise for the third time.
So, with Moon Knight only a couple of months away, will the show be canon to the MCU? Here’s what we know.
