The Philadelphia Eagles did not have a good outing against the New Orleans Saints in their week 17 game. But instead two Eagles’ fans have become heroes as they teamed up to save a life on Sunday.
Dr. Vincent Basile was attending the Eagles game with his girlfriend. They wore a costume and face paint since they came to the game straight after performing at the mummers parade. After returning to their seats Basile, while watching the game, heard someone calling for help. So, he turned back to see and found out that a man who was seated ten rows above him collapsed and needed help.
He rushed to help and saw a man lying unconscious and turning blue. The man was already getting help from Natalie Nichole, a nurse, who was also an Eagles fan and was attending her first Eagles game. “The next thing you know, a guy in a pink dress is running up next to me,” said Natalie Spencer, a fellow Eagles’ fan on Meta wall. Basile explained to her that he was an emergency doctor and they both teamed up and got to work.
Update: Apparently the man also had a nurse in his Section as well who also helped.
What are the chances? 🤯
How lucky.

After a few minutes of CPR, the man regained consciousness, and strangely the first thing the man asked when he woke up confused was about the score. “Believe it or not, the first thing to come out of the guy’s mouth was he asked what the score of the Eagles game was,” said Basile while talking to a media about the incident.“It’s the most Philly thing to happen.”
Eagles aim for the No.1 seed
The Philadelphia Eagles started their season great and almost locked up the No.1 seed but after an injury to their quarterback Jalen Hurts, they have lost two games in a row and they’re still trying to clinch the first seed.
During the final week of the NFL regular season, the Eagles, the Cowboys, and the 49ers all have a shot at the precious No.1 seed in the NFC playoff picture. The Eagles missed two good chances to lock up their home-field advantage but failed miserably in both. Nevertheless, the Philadelphia-based franchise still controls its destiny as all they have to do is secure a win against the New York Giants to skip the wildcard weekend.
The 49ers have to win against a dismantled Arizona Cardinals which is doable, but they also have to hope for the Eagles to suffer a beating in week 18. As for the Dallas Cowboys, they have an outside chance at the No.1 seed. They have to win against the Washington Commanders and they have to hope for the Eagles and also the Niners to lose their games.
Week 18 football will be huge for the NFC teams since three teams are still fighting for their right to skip the wildcard weekend. And on the flip side, there are another three teams that will be fighting for their right to play in the wildcard weekend as the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers, and the Seattle Seahawks will all fight for the lone remaining wildcard spot in the NFC.
