GOOD Saturday Morning! March 14th, 2015!
Happy PI day! {today is "3.14"....}
SO, AS I came home on a Friday night,
as drunk as drunk could be...
I saw a head on the bed where my old bald head should be...
I calls to me wife, and I says to her: would you kindly tell to me
who owns that head upon the bed where my old bald head should be?
AH, Yer drunk, yer drunk, you silly old fool,
and still you cannot see,
thats the lovely baby boy that me mother sent to me
Its manys a day I've traveled a hundred miles or more
But its whiskers on a baby , surely I never saw before...
And, AS I came home on a Saturday night,
as drunk as drunk could be...
I saw a lad a-sneaking out the back at a quarter past three...
I calls to me wife, and I says to her: would you kindly tell to me
who is that lad sneaking out the back at a quarter past three?
AH, Yer drunk, yer drunk, you silly old fool,
and still you cannot see,
thats the tax man that me mother sent to me
Its manys a day I've traveled a hundred miles or more
But its an Englishman who can stay up past three , sure I never saw before...
And, AS I came home on a Sunday night,
as drunk as drunk could be...
I saw a man a-lying where I ought to be...
I calls to me wife, and I says to her: would you kindly tell to me
who is the man a-lying there where I should be?
AH, Yer drunk, yer drunk, you silly old fool,
and still you cannot see,
thats the KING of England that me mother sent to me
Its manys a day I've traveled a hundred miles or more
But its a King in a Bed, surely I never saw before...
ANd no matter hows-a drunk I gets,
there's to this tale never no more...
Ah, I'm not drunk, I'm not drunk, you silly old GAL,
And still you cannot see,
Its manys the days I've travelled,
but never drunk Again I'll be...
