Jim Carrey, 56, and Ginger Gonzaga, 34, who starred together in the Showtime series 'Kidding', made their red carpet debut on Saturday at the Showtime Golden Globes Nominees Celebration in West Hollywood, California.
A representative for the actor confirmed to People that Gonzaga is Carrey’s girlfriend. The couple looked blissful as they posed for photos together at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
Gonzaga was wearing a white dress with a pair of white and black heels while Carrey opted for a long black suit jacket with matching pants and a white shirt. The couple exchanged loving gazes as they stood arm-in-arm at the event.
Alongside a snap of the duo that Gonzaga posted to Instagram, she wrote 'Most partial to this talented nominee #goldenglobes,'
Carrey — who was previously married to actress Melissa Womer, 58, and his 'Dumb and Dumber' co-star Lauren Holly, 55 — has not been romantically linked to another woman since his ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White, died from a prescription drug overdose in 2015.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Carrey said, "You could describe my home life as an isolated life. I spend a lot of time by myself but I like being by myself, so it’s OK. That might be strange to some people, but I enjoy it."
“I love to read and I enjoy painting and working on sculptures,” he said of his free time. “And I date.” the actor added.
Carrey's relationship with Melissa ended in 1995 after eight years while Lauren choose to walk away from their marriage in less than a year.
Carrey was subsequently linked to Renee Zellweger for a few years, and the two were engaged for a spell before he started dating actress Jenny McCarthy after meeting her in 2005. The two later split in 2010.
