BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate recently used his Twitter platform to draw a comparison between himself and other Hollywood celebrities who have faced false accusations from women. The self-proclaimed misogynist influencer is currently facing serious charges in Romania, including human trafficking, rape, and involvement in a criminal organization. Despite these allegations, Tate asserts that his arrest aligns him with other renowned celebrities such as football star Cristiano Ronaldo and Hollywood icon Johnny Depp.
Romanian prosecutors have released a statement outlining the charges against Andrew Tate, which are based on allegations of abuse made by seven women. These women claim that they were taken to various locations in Ilfov County, where they were subjected to intimidation, constant surveillance, and control. Ultimately, they allege that they were coerced into incurring debts against their will.

'Nobody is safe from these lies'
In a recent Twitter post, Tate highlighted the detrimental impact of sexual abuse accusations on prominent figures. He wrote, "Men. This isn’t about me. This isn’t about whether you like me or not. This is about all of us. Today it’s me. Tomorrow it’s you. Nobody is safe from these lies."
Men.
This isn’t about me.
This isn’t about whether you like me or not.
This is about all of us.
Today it’s me. Tomorrow it’s you.
Nobody is safe from these lies.

Tate boldly drew parallels between his own harrowing experience of being accused of sexual assault and the high-profile sagas of Johnny Depp and Cristiano Ronaldo. Depp, amidst intense public scrutiny, emerged victorious in his defamation lawsuit against his ex-spouse Amber Heard, who had made damaging allegations of sexual assault against him. The aftermath resulted in Depp receiving a substantial settlement of $10.35 million, while Heard obtained $2 million through her defamation claim. Depp's career suffered significant blows due to the widely publicized domestic violence accusations, leading to his departure from major film franchises.

In 2018, Ronaldo, the renowned Portuguese football star, faced a civil complaint by Kathryn Mayorga, which sent shockwaves across the world of sports and triggered a reinvestigation into rape allegations. Eventually, the charges were dismissed due to a lack of supporting evidence, but the accusations tarnished Ronaldo's once-revered reputation temporarily, casting a shadow over his public image.
'They want to eliminate anyone masculine'
Tate's comparison of his case to the likes of Depp and Ronaldo sparked astonishment among many users, who expressed their opinions on Tate's assertion. One user wrote, "We as men are standing together to fight this matrix for not only us , but our families." Another said, "Correct. They want to eliminate anyone masculine and powerful they do not totally control." Someone else asserted, "All they do is LIE."
