The final member lineup of HYBE x Geffen Records’ Dream Academy survival show, KATSEYE, has been announced and generated buzz, have a look at the Kpop group members and their profile
The much-anticipated final roster for KATSEYE was revealed on November 18, the last day of the Dream Academy, a cooperative survival event between HYBE Labels and Geffen Records.

Intending to create a globally recognized ensemble, this innovative talent search brought together 20 budding artists from various parts of the globe.
The show took viewers through three difficult missions starting on August 19 and ended with the selection of six outstanding individuals who are currently members of the international girl group KATSEYE.
The big reveal happened in Hollywood, California, and it was a momentous occasion for the rising stars. Encouraged by their rising stardom and wide range of skills, the members are excited about what’s to come and look forward to their group’s upcoming formal debut.

1. Sophia

Sophia Elizabeth G. Laforteza, better known as Sophia, won the top slot in The Dream Academy survival program. This Filipino performer, who was born on 31 December 2002, rose to prominence before shows with her K-pop renditions and dancing moves.
She graduated from MIT International and is the daughter of Carla Guevara Laforteza, a renowned singer and actress in the Philippines. Sophia had an appearance on the TV game program Family Feud Philippines in 2022 before joining KATSEYE.
2. Lara
Lara Rajagopalan, who goes by Lara, took second place in The Dream Academy survival competition. Raised in Los Angeles, USA, she is a representative of the fusion of Tamil and Indian-American ethnicity. She was born on 3 November 2005 and speaks Tamil and English fluently.
She had a notable appearance in Michelle Obama’s Global Girls Alliance campaign film, which marked yet another significant advance in her rapidly developing career before she entered into KATSEYE.
3. Daniela
Born on 1 July 2004, Daniela Avanzini is a member of KATSEYE from Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles. She is of Cuban and Venezuelan-American descent. She is an actress, model, and ballroom dancer who speaks Spanish and English well.
In addition to placing tenth on So You Think You Can Dance, Daniela made an appearance in Matty B’s “Dramatic” music video, won second place in Super Kids Europe, and was highlighted in the kids part of America’s Most Talented on The Queen Latifah Show.

4. Yoonchae
Jeong Yoonchae, who goes by Yoonchae, entered KATSEYE after placing fourth in The Dream Academy. She was born in Korea on 6 December 2007, and is the newest member, or “maknae,” of the much-awaited worldwide girl group.
She notably showed her early talent and ambition in 2020 by passing CJ E&M auditions.
5. Megan
Megan, whose real name is Megan Meiyok Skiendiel, cemented her spot in KATSEYE by placing fifth in HYBE’s The Dream Academy. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on 10 February 2006 and she is the group’s representative for Chinese Americans.
Megan first gained notoriety as a runway and fashion model, appearing at major fashion shows including Parish and LA Fashion Weeks, where she elegantly and tastefully displayed haute couture.
6. Manon

Manon, whose real name is Meret Manon Bannerman, qualified for KATSEYE by placing sixth in The Dream Academy. She was born in Zürich, Switzerland, on 26 June 2002.
She speaks English and Swiss German with ease and represents the identity of a Swiss-Ghanaian. In addition to her musical career, Manon is well-known for her work as a model in photography.
