Social media erupted after a video of a man who refused to pay for meals during a dinner date surfaced.
The unnamed man had taken his girlfriend to celebrate her birthday in style at a luxury restaurant.

However, his girlfriend showed up with 18 other female friends to enjoy the delicacies served at the dinner venue.
After they were done with the meal and it was time to pay, the young man refused to part with his hard-earned money, and commotion started.
In the viral video, the man is seen arguing with his girlfriend outside the venue; she insisted that her boyfriend should foot the bills of all her friends.
But, the young man was having none of it and the ladies, in anger, resulted in calling him a broke man.

The video has, however, generated plenty of reactions on social media.

While many people wondered why the lady will come along with 18 friends for a dinner date, others said the video clip appears to be staged.

Meanwhile, a young Nigerian lady took to social media to celebrate her boyfriend’s financial breakthrough.
She said her boyfriend recently acquired a brand new Mercedes Benz and took her for a spin in the luxury ride as a form of appreciation for sticking with him after years of alleged financial hardship.
The excited lady poked her head out of the car’s open roof as they happily made snaps and toured the town in their new ride while Burna Boy’s Common Person aptly played in the background.
