A Nigerian man, identified simply as Chisom, recalled how his wife helped him financially while they were still dating.
He stated that the company he worked for went out of business, leaving him unemployed.
The now-married man revealed that his fiancée provided him with a stipend for maintenance every month until he could get back on his feet.

Chisom described his experience on the microblogging network, Twitter, admitting that the first month his lady paid him the monthly allowance, he “cried like a baby”.

He wrote; “Before we got married, there was a time when I was out of a job. The company had closed down and my boss then didn’t pay me salary for that month.”
“My wife (gf then) was sending me money for upkeep monthly till I got a good job. The first month she did this, I cried like a baby.”
