Juice Wrld also died due to a drug overdose back in 2019
Adam Harrison was not the first death in the US due to a drug overdose. The death of American rapper and singer, Juice WRLD came as a huge shock to everyone when he passed away in 2019 at the age of 21. The rapper was known to be using drugs as he even talked about in his songs but no one even imagined that the person who had risen to such fame in less than a time span of 2 years would end up killing himself due to overdose.
Juice Wrld’s mother, Carmella Wallace once opened up in an interview with TMZ after the death of her son and revealed that he always had a battle with addiction. She said,
“We loved Jarad with all of our hearts and cannot believe our time with him has been cut short. As he often addressed in his music and to his fans, Jarad battled with prescription drug dependency. Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it…We hope the conversations he started in his music and his legacy will help others win their battles as that is what he wanted more than anything.”
Juice Wrld consumed a few Percocet tablets to hide them from the federal agents who were going to search his private plane in Chicago which eventually led to his death.
