Novak Djokovic is a world-class tennis player who has dominated the game for over a decade. He is currently World No. 1 in men’s singles tennis and the ATP World Tour Finals champion.
He won the Wimbledon 2021 Men’s Final Championship by overcoming Italian Tennis Player Matteo Berrettini, proving his continuous supremacy. He began playing tennis at age four on an informal court near his house in Belgrade and developed a love for the sport during childhood.

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) oversees the men’s official tennis tours and has Novak Djokovic, presently classified as the global highest tennis player. Nine times such as the last three years, Djokovic has won the Australian National. He shares the record for the most Major Slam singles championship wins by a player in his tennis career with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who each have 20.
While Novak Djokovic was four years old, his parents enrolled him in a tennis program in Novi Sad. This has been ever since he first began practicing tennis. Jelena Geni, a Serbian tennis player, and instructor recognized and complimented his developing skills in 1993. Jelena served as his coach up until 1999.
Around 2001, at 14, he started his professional career after rising through the ranks and winning European titles in the singles, pairs, and team divisions. He competed in the US Grand finals in 2007. However, Swiss tennis great Roger Federer defeated him in the final set.
Djokovic became the first Serbian to earn one of tennis’ four biggest famous singles titles in 2008 when he earned his first Grand Slam event, the Australian National. In addition, he won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
He won his 17th Grand Slam championship at the Australian National in 2020 as he kept winning championships. As in the semifinal of the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, Djokovic defeated Márton Fucsovics to earn his 100th consecutive victory on the green.

Personal Life
Both Serbian and Croatian ancestry can be found in Novak Djokovic. He wedded Jelena Ristic Djokovic, his high school partner, in 2014. In October of that year, she delivered birth to a baby boy Stefan, and three years later, Tara, their girl, was delivered in September of 2017.
Djokovic speaks four different languages. He established the Novak Djokovic Organization in 2007 to assist the less fortunate kids and give them the resources and education they need to lead a full life.
Djokovic is now one of the best players in the world and seems to have an endless supply of talent. But, like Federer, Djokovic spoke out against wage equality for female tennis players, which caused outrage and distress among the tennis community and earned a massive harsh criticism from fans worldwide.
