Of All the Anthropologie Dresses, This Looks Incredible on Everyone

As we were putting together Glamour’s first-ever Plus-Size Fashion Awards, one thing became abundantly clear: Anthropologie is killing it.

The brand first expanded into plus this past March, with a full range of sizes from 00P to 26W. A slapdash effort this was not: Anthropologie did its due diligence by making sure the styles in its plus collection matched those available in straight sizes. Yes, plus lives in a separate tab online, in case you just want to jump to a section you know you can shop in—but when you click on an item anywhere else on the site, it'll clearly tell you if that style comes in the full range, all in one link. If that sounds like an obvious thing to do, the reality is that it’s still pretty revolutionary for a brand to offer plus sizes in the exact same styles—to purchase both online and in stores—as shoppers size 12 and under.

But it’s not just the shopping experience that Anthro is nailing. Its dresses (and jumpsuits) this season are so good, it’s a danger to your bank account. There’s one dress in particular, though, that’s on its way to Amazon Coat and Leopard-Print Midi status. In other words, it’s everywhere. Oh, and it’s a Glamour Plus-Size Fashion Award winner.

Anthropologie Lucienne Off-the-Shoulder Maxidress

Anthropologie’s Lucienne Off-the-Shoulder Maxidress retails for $180 and is available in its full size range, from 00P to 26W. When we had our Plus-Size Fashion Award judges test it out, the response was pretty strong. Here’s just a sampling of what they exclaimed (no hyperbole), when they tried it on:

“It’s really chic! Puffy sleeves usually never work on me.” —Samhita Mukhopadhyay, Teen Vogue executive editor

“I feel fabulous. I’m a new woman. It's like my own Britney moment.” —P.S. Kaguya, influencer

“I. Love. These. Sleeves.” —Jessica Torres, influencer
