We’re now just a week away from July and it looks set to be one of the biggest months in the history of Pokemon GO.
Following a few action-packed months, June has been a bit of a dampener, ending with a rather bizarre Bidoof Breakout event.
Thankfully, that’s soon coming to a close and we can start to look ahead; so here is every Pokemon GO event for July 2021.
July 2021 Community Day
The first event set to take place in July is the monthly Community Day, which kicks off on July 3.
This month, the featured Pokemon is Tepig. The Pokemon will have its shiny form released into the game for the first time and will come with a range of bonuses for players.
Pokemon GO Fest July 2021
Arguably, the most anticipated Pokemon GO event for July, and maybe even the year, is Pokemon GO Fest.
The two-day event kicks off on July 17 and is sure to introduce a range of exciting bonuses, shiny Pokemon, research and more for players to get stuck into.
It will also be the debut for the mythical Pokemon, Meloetta.
One of these Pikachu is wearing a rock-themed outfit while the other is wearing a pop-themed one—but both are ready for stardom! 😎

Pokemon Air Adventures
One of the more bizarre and slightly underwhelming events of July is Pokemon Air Adventures.
It’s limited to Okinawa, Japan, where a special Pikachu will be available and to locations in which Corsola can be found, where the Pokemon can be shiny.
It’s designed to promote travel, but makes it a little bit exclusive.
The Pokémon Company has launched Pokémon Air Adventures, an initiative that helps create wonderful travel memories that’s kicking off in Okinawa, Japan. To celebrate, Shiny Corsola will be available in Pokémon GO beginning July 22! ✨

Pokemon GO 5th Anniversary
It’s unclear whether Niantic will be celebrating Pokemon GO’s fifth anniversary separately to GO Fest, however, they have confirmed that the price of tickets is $5 to celebrate the milestone.
Niantic has also confirmed that they will be releasing a range of merch as part of the celebrations.
A line-up of new items celebrating Pokémon GO’s 5th anniversary has also been revealed, with a T-shirt especially for Pokémon GO Fest 2021 also making an appearance.

Changes to Bonuses
While not strictly an event, Pokemon GO Exploration Bonuses are changing.
These changes have caused some anger amongst the community as Incense becomes less effective, buddies bring less gifts and PokeStop and Gym distances revert back to usual.
