Niantic is celebrating everything Psychic types in Pokemon GO with its new Psychic Spectacular event and with it comes a series of Timed Research for you to complete.
The Season of Mischief is keeping players busy with different forms of research to complete, with the latest only giving players five days.
There are plenty of Pokemon encounters to be had as part of the Psychic Spectacular Timed research as well, so get ready to catch lots of different Psychic-type Pokemon this week.

Psychic Spectacular Timed Research Tasks and Rewards
Completely separate from the ongoing Misunderstood Mischief Special Research, this Timed Research features five steps of three tasks each for you to complete before the end of the event.
You should gain access to the Psychic Spectacular Timed Research starting on Wednesday, September 8 at 10:00 am local time and have until Monday, September 13 at 8:00 pm local time to complete it.
To finish this Psychic Spectacular event-exclusive Timed Research, you will have to complete the 15 total tasks below that have been provided by Leek Duck, with you receiving plenty of rewards along the way.
Step 1
Catch 10 Psychic-type Pokemon – 500 XP
Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10x Poke Balls
Spin a PokeStop or Gym – 500 Stardust
Rewards – Abra encounter, 10 Razz Berries, 500 XP
Step 2
Power up Pokemon 5 times – 10x Ultra Balls
Catch 20 Pokemon – 5x Pinap Berries
Make 5 Great Throws – 1x Fast TM
Rewards – Ralts encounter, 10x Great Ball, 500 Stardust
Step 3
Hatch an Egg – Bronzor encounter
Evolve 2 Psychic-type Pokemon – Solosis encounter
Earn a Candy walking with your buddy – 1000 Stardust
Rewards – Girafarig encounter, 5x Revives, 500 XP
Step 4
Send 5 Gifts to friends – 1x Charged TM
Use 15 Berries to help catch Pokemon – Xatu encounter
Battle in the GO Battle League 2 times – Meditite encounter
Rewards – Starmie encounter, 1x Incense, 500 XP
Step 5
Battle in a raid – 5x Hyper Potions
Make 5 Nice Curveball Throws – Baltoy encounter
Use an Incense – 1x Lure
Rewards – Inkay encounter, 1000 XP, 1000 Stadust
Overall, there shouldn’t be any of these tasks that should be too overly difficult for you to complete in the Psychic Spectacular Timed Research. The only one that may take a little time for you to finish is the Hatch an Egg task, but that should be fairly easy with Adventure Sync on, especially if you’re using a 2 km Egg.
Just make sure that you complete all five steps before the Psychic Spectacular Timed Research ends on Monday, September 13 at 8:00 pm local time.
