Brandon, Florida -- The much-anticipated new Bay area location of an iconic Chicago eatery has been announced.
Brandon, Florida -- The much-anticipated new Bay area location of an iconic Chicago eatery has been announced. Portillo's, which launched its hot dog stand in Chicago in 1963 and grew into restaurant chain with locations throughout the greater Chicago area, will be coming to Brandon.
The Brandon location is the chain's first in the Southeast and will be located on the northeast corner of SR 60 (Brandon Boulevard) and Lakewood Drive, near Westfield Brandon. The restaurant will feature a 1930s prohibition theme and have a double drive-thru lane.
On Monday, August 17, the restaurant's owners will host open interviews for restaurant managers from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Embassy Suites at 10220 Palm River Road in Tampa. Click here for more information.
