Preview, game time, TV info, lineup and more – NBC Sports Philadelphia

With the schedule winding down, the Flyers (23-42-11) will look to end a five-game skid Tuesday when they visit the Maple Leafs (50-20-6).

Let's get into the essentials for Game 77 of 82:

  • When: 7 p.m. ET with The Warm Up at 6 p.m. ET and Flyers Pregame Live at 6:15 p.m. ET
  • Where: Scotiabank Arena
  • Broadcast: NBC Sports Philadelphia
  • Live stream: NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports MyTeams app

• The Flyers are trying to limit the bleeding as they near the finish line.

They've been outscored 27-11 in their five-game losing streak (0-5-0). Their 2021-22 résumé has already taken a serious pounding by separate losing streaks of 13 games (0-10-3) from Dec. 30 to Jan. 25, 10 games (0-8-2) through Nov. 18 to Dec. 8 and six games (0-4-2) during Feb. 9-22.

Snapping their current five-game skid won't be easy against a Toronto team that scores the NHL's second-most goals per game at 3.86 and is 10-1-1 in its last 12 games.

If there's a glimmer of hope for the Flyers, it's that they won't have to face Auston Matthews, who is nursing an undisclosed injury. The 24-year-old superstar leads the NHL with 58 goals this season and ranks fifth with 102 points.

• The last time the Flyers played the Maple Leafs in Toronto was Nov. 9, 2019.

They won, 3-2, in a shootout, improving to 9-5-2 in Year 1 under Alain Vigneault.

Joel Farabee was 19 years old and playing in just his 10th NHL game.

The last time the Flyers were at Scotiabank Arena was the bubble experience for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. They were eliminated by the Islanders in a second-round Game 7. Since then, the Flyers have not returned to the playoffs.
