The second season of PUBG Mobile Pro League North America ended recently with 16 teams qualifying for the grand finals of the tournament which is scheduled to begin from 29th October,2021.
A professional league in North America, PMPL takes place very year to decide the teams that will be representing North America at PUBG Mobile Global Championship. As Tencent has already revealed the start date of PMGC, sixteen NA teams are looking forward towards the finals. The prestigious finals boasts a prize pool of $55,000 USD where the winner will take away a lion’s share of $10,000.

The League stage of PMPL Season 2 North America concluded on 24th October,2021. The first phase of the tournament was won by none other than powerhouse team Nova Esports NA. The team managed to take 6 chicken dinners and accumulated a total of 474 points. Rinn from Nova Esports was also awarded as the MVP of 2nd week. Following them were 19Esports with 448 points. Ghost Gaming and Knights secured the third and fourth positions respectively.
PassionFruit Esports had been disqualified from the tournament earlier due to breach of several player protocols mentioned in the rule book of the tournament. Players from this team didn’t turn up at the matches which forced the authorities to disqualify them.

The total prize of PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 2 North America has been kept at $55,000 USD which will be distributed among the teams as follows:
First: $10,000
Second: $6,500
Third: $5,000

Top 5 teams from PMPL NA Season 2 will qualify for the Americas Championship which will feature Top 5 teams from Brazil and LATAM as well. The Championship will take place from 11th November,2021.
As of now Ghost Gaming leads the score board with a whopping 1254 points towards the path to PMGC 2021. Nova Esports NA is following them closely, therefore, all eyes will be set on these top teams at the finals.
