Honkai Star Rail's next update is just around the corner, making fans curious to know when they can jump back in. With a new area, new quests and as many as three new characters debuting, the 1.3 Update could easily end up being one of the biggest updates in the game's short history.
In a new post on its official blog, Hoyoverse has revealed the details of the upcoming 1.3 Update. The update will be released across all platforms on August 30th, 2023, at 06:00 a.m. (UTC+8) (Tuesday, 29 August 11 pm ET). The maintenance period begins at this point and will take 5 hours to complete. The preload for the update is already available, so players who want to jump into the game right away can use the feature to minimize wait times.

For each hour the game is down, players will receive 60 Stellar Jade. So, for 5 hours, players can expect to receive 300 Stellar Jade via in-game mail. It should be noted that unlike Genshin Impact, if the maintenance gets delayed, which is rarely the case, players will still only receive a maximum of 300 Stellar Jade. The rewards will expire once the update ends, so players should grab it as soon as possible.
As part of the 1.3 Update, three new characters Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan, and Lynx are being added to Honkai Star Rail. For the first phase of the banner, only Imbibitor Lunae is being added, while Fu Xuan and Lynx will be featured in the second banner, which will be released three weeks after the first one. As for four-star characters on the first banner, players will be getting Asta, March 7th, and Yukong as part of the banner.
Honkai Star Rail's updates have been really promising so far, and after dropping the massive Fontaine update for Genshin Impact, it seems like Hoyoverse is on track to deliver yet another banger for Honkai Star Rail.
