In the prior chapter of Solo Max-Level Newbie, we learn about Casey and Judelo’s history. They saw their parents murdered in front of their eyes. Their attack on the crazy killer was an act of vengeance for their parents’ deaths and protection from harm. However, this traumatized them to the point where they could never return to their previous selves. To return to the action at hand, Kang is giving it his all to defeat them both, but he isn’t feeling any of his usual strength in the process. They’re both ready for this conflict to be over.
